Choose the right charging pile type
First of all, we need to choose the appropriate type of charging pile according to our needs. There are currently three types of charging piles on the market: AC charging piles, DC fast charging piles and wireless charging piles.
1. AC charging pile: AC charging pile is suitable for slow charging, and it usually takes about 6 hours to fully charge. This kind of charging pile is relatively cheap, but the speed is slow and it is not suitable for long-distance driving.
2. DC fast charging pile: DC fast charging pile is suitable for high-speed charging and can fully charge electric vehicles in a short time. This kind of charging pile is expensive, but it is fast and suitable for long-distance driving.
3. Wireless charging piles: Wireless charging piles do not require wiring and can be easily installed in garages or parking lots. This kind of charging pile is expensive, but it is easy to install and is suitable for some special occasions.
Determine the charging location and power interface
After choosing the type of charging pile, we need to determine the charging location and power interface. Generally speaking, the charging pile should be installed in a well-ventilated place indoors or outdoors, avoiding direct sunlight and rain. At the same time, we need to ensure that the power interface of the charging pile matches the household power line. If the household power line is three-phase electricity, then we need to choose a three-phase charging pile; if it is single-phase electricity, then we need to choose a single-phase charging pile.
Install the ground support and fixing bolts
After determining the charging location and power interface, we need to install the ground support and fixing bolts. The ground support is generally made of aluminum alloy material, which has the characteristics of anti-corrosion and wear resistance. The fixing bolts need to be installed according to the requirements of the manual to ensure that the bracket is firm and reliable.
Connect the power cord and ground wire
Next, we need to connect the power and ground wires. The power cord is generally provided by the manufacturer and needs to be connected according to the actual situation. The ground wire needs to be connected to the ground wire to ensure personal safety.
Debug charging pile
After completing the above steps, we need to debug the charging pile. The following points should be paid attention to during debugging:
1. Check whether the power supply voltage is stable;
2. Check whether the charging pile is working normally;
3. Check whether the vehicle can receive the charging signal normally;
4. Check whether there is any abnormality during the charging process.
Precautions for use
In the process of using charging piles, we need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Do not overload;
2. Do not use in rainy or humid places;
3. Do not use in high temperature or low temperature environment;
4. Do not connect the power cord without permission;
5. Do not disassemble or change the charging facilities at will.
