Level 1 and Level 2 home chargers are classified according to their electrical safety standards. The main differences lie in the following aspects:

Security: Level 2 home chargers are safer than Level 1. Level 2 chargers need to meet more stringent electrical safety requirements, with higher insulation levels and lower leakage current requirements to reduce the risk of electric shock.

Scope of application: Level 2 chargers are suitable for a wider range of appliances and equipment, including electronic products with higher safety requirements. The level 1 charger is mainly suitable for some low-power devices, such as mobile phones, tablets and so on.

Efficiency: Since level 2 chargers require more efficient conversion of electrical energy, they are generally more efficient and can charge devices faster than level 1 chargers.

It should be noted that the choice of charger should be based on the requirements of the equipment and safety considerations to decide. When purchasing, it is recommended to choose products with formal certification and avoid buying fake and shoddy products to ensure the safety of use.
